Finches batted first and hit a fine total of 307 – 6 in the excellent conditions. Ed Oliver led the way with 94 not out with 50 from Mac Keast and forties from Gary Loveday and Matt Eldridge. A good run chase by High Wycombe ended 10 runs short as they closed on 297 – 9 so a useful win for Finches. A return of 4 – 53 from Asim Hussain and three wickets for K James Eaglesham brightened a fine 604 run match.
