For many years John has dedicated so much time and effort to ensure the smooth running of our cricket club. John was also a great supporter of the Finchampstead football team and most Saturday afternoons you would find him on the touch line at the memorial park.

John was a great cricket man, umpiring to a high level and officiating for the MCC around the world. He will be remembered not just at Finchampstead but across the greater cricketing community.

John was very proud of his family, a devoted husband, father and grandfather and would proudly share pictures and stories of his family with his friends at the club.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this very sad time.

You will be greatly missed John and we are all blessed and honoured to have known you.❤️❤️
