A relatively good performance by the U13 Royals considering the absence of some key players and the addition of a number of U11’s for the match. Finch won the toss & chose to field first.  With an artificial wicket & slow outfield, Shinfield scored 104 for 5.  The Finch bowling let them down, giving away 38 extras including 24 wides!   However there were some noteable highlights with Tom Bale taking 3 wickets for 14 runs. The Finch boys tried hard during their innings and scored 73 for 7, but it was not enough to catch Shinfield.  Again some good individual performances including Douglas Scholes not out for 23 and a pleasing first match for new arrival Jake Lord!
