Finchampstead 2nd XI lost their opening game of the season away  at Marlow in the Thames Valley League 2A where they came up against a strong 1st XI.  Finches batted first and struggled initially until a very productive stand between Matt Morris 47 and Ray Brown 46 helped the team to a score of 203.  This proved to be well within the capability of Marlow  as they reached  206 for 3 and a 7 wicket victory.
