Good Start to the Season

On this our first game of the season, stand in Captain Thomas Bale, won the toss and elected to bat, Newcomer to the club, Miles Anderson opened with established opener Michael Walton and between them put on an opening partnership of 86, before miles was bowled on 48.

Next was Ollie Armstrong Wood another newcomer, who filtted in well and scored 20 runs of 16 balls  and with Michael Walton still scorong and other team mebers contributing Finchampstead scored 143 for 5 of there 20 overs.

The defence of the total started with Liam Coldwell and Ollie Armstrong Wood , with Liam bowling the  Hurst opener

N Shaw out for 3 and from then on Finchampstead took wickets at various stages with Miles Anderson taking 3 for 19 and Luke Mills, Oliver Crookall, Stephen Munck and Alex Mitchell all contributing to the game. 

Hurst finished 80 for 9 and Finchanpstead secured the win.
