A close game against Aldershot

Some wayward bowling lost the game for Finchampstead after taking the field with only 7 players.  Aldershot kindly lent us a fielder and allowed Ria Pandit to bat a second time but the team also struggled to score runs against a tight bowling attack.  In her first game Amie Coombes bowled very well, staring with a maiden over, and hit a fine boundary in her 8 not out.  The girls need to be more decisive with the bat and look at field placing as we gave away too many byes, as the team took it in turns to keep wicket.  However, everyone worked very hard in the field and their confidence will increase with more games.
