Finch v Aldershot

An excellent performance from all the players saw them record their first league win of the season.  The bowling was very accurate with a maiden over and 2 wickets from Ashleigh Muttitt, another maiden and one wicket from Jemima Bentley, plus one wicket for both Megan Forth and Teia Smith.  Olivia Squires bowled well, conceding only 9 runs, Isobel Prior conceded only 8 runs and Annabel Jones only 11 runs, which kept the Aldershot run rate down to a net 243 runs for 5 wickets.  The Finchampstead batting took advantage of any loose bowling with Megan scoring an excellent 22, including 4 boundaries, whlle Ashleigh scored 21.  The fielding was generally good, with teia improving her wicketkeeping with every game.
