Bazley,Clarke & Augustus To The Rescue !

Great result - And a much needed one !

Some very fine performances, in particular from Steve West, who returned figures of 58 - 5. However, in truth this match was won by 3 lads - These being Marcus Bazley, Justin Clarke and Dylon Augustus.

Marcus produced a very mture innings of 58, I'm sure that the shot he finally got out to would have given him a sleepless night - His blushes were saved by the last wicket pair of Clarke and Augustus.

With an additional 28 runs to win, they knocked the runs off without any fuss what so ever !

Not only did they hog the limelight with the bat, they also performed with the ball. Together they bowled 18.4 overs, with 8 maidens, conceded 35 runs and took 2 wickets.  To be honest, they have been doing this all season. They are a credit to Finchampstead Cricket Club.

No complaints from these two when it comes to collecting the match fees !
