At Finchampstead in division 2 the visitors North Maidenhead firsts elected to bat first. In fine conditions they scored 260 for 9 using all 52 overs. Nathan Clarke returned a fine 5 for 75 with sound medium pace bowling.
After being reduced to 73 for 5 an unbroken stand of 167 between Mark Shepherd and Dan Marles saw the score to 240 for 5 in the 48 allowed overs with a draw the outcome. Shepherd posted a magnificent 136 not out and Marles 55 not out in the merited draw.
