Despite the afternoon showers the Finch pitch was bathed in evening sunshine and ready for this Quarter final match between the Zone A and Zone B winners.  Kidmore End won the toss and elected to bat in the match. Finch kept their opponents score down to 91 for 6 from 18 overs with brilliant death bowling from Justin Clarke (3  wickets) and one each from Nick Davey, John Davie and Ben Bradish as all the bowlers were accurate and well supported by the fielding.  The Finch  openers were pegged back by precise Kdmore End bowling and  80  runs were needed from the last 10 overs.  However, the power hitting of Scott Osler (43*) who was ably supported by Justin Clarke (21*)  the match dramatically swung Finch's way from the jaws of defeat as Finch reached the target with 4 balls left.

A great team performance. It's now Slough in the Semi finals.
