Royals put up a good fight
A much better performance from the U13 Royals saw a more satisfying match all round, but unfortunately still not a win!! Crown Wood won the toss & chose to bat first and reached 101 runs for 8 from the 20 overs. The pick of the bowlers were Tom Edwards who took 2 wickets for 8 runs in 3 overs and Max Snadden who took 1 wicket in his 4 overs and conceded only 10 runs. Despite an excellent 30 No from Billy Beswick and a great effort from all the team, Finch came up short in the run chase as they were all out for 81 runs.
