With Finch winning the toss and electing to bat first. it wasn't long before the batsmen were building on a total that would be difficult for their opponents to reach. Dan Lincoln (33), Richard Reed (30), Sam Gomarsall (26), and Daniel Skinner (28) all retiring not out and Josh Lincoln 21, the boys piled on the runs in a reduced over match. Good fielding with some very tight bowling (Sam Gomarsall 4 overs, 3 wickets for 13 runs) together with a couple of early run outs led to a convincing win for the Eagles.
