U13's Win BYCL Semi Final

Finch U13s made their way down the M4 to Boyne Hill CC on Sunday 15th June to compete in the semi-finals of the BYCL Cup. If successfil they would play in the finals in the afternoon. Finch were drawn against Slough and Falkand and Cookham Dean would play the other. Batting was not easy against some disciplined bowling and only Dan Lincoln and Dan Marles managed double figures. Finishing on 89-2 it would be a tough total to defend. Max Snaddon got Finch off to a great start with his four overs going for only 8 runs. He was well supported by Jack McClean, Dan Skinner, Josh Lincoln and Sam Gomarsall with Dam Marles finishing with figures of 4-0-17-2. The bowling was so tight that apart from Curran Gaur retiring on 33, none of the other batters could find the boundary. Slough finished on 78-6 and Finch would now play the final against Falkland.
