U11 Eagles Lose to Hurst
This was a very creditable performance by the Eagles, all of whom are playing a year down. They posted a good score with solid contributions from Max and Craig. The bowling was a little wayward at times as the boys endeavoured to break that magic 100mph mark, but considering they were facing two U11 county players, they stuck to their task pretty well.
Cameron and two if the zillion Tom's (Dyson and Harris) we have at the club, especially giving it a good go. The fielding was generally good, especially chasing down the ball, but we need to do a little more work on long barriers and backing up the field. All-in-all though a very promising start for a basically young side.
