Tie!

A fantastic evening and some fantastic cricket to go with it. Finch batted first and another solid start allowed middle order to accelerate putting a respectable total of 111 on the board. Another good knock from Tom making 26* against good bowling. Finch then hit the field and a wicket in the first over knocked Guildford back but they soon recovered with the other opener reaching 25. It stayed close throughout and a late burst from Craig saw wickets tumble - unfortunately one too many as the opener came back to the crease with 12 runs needed off the last over. 2 runs off each of first five balls saw Guildford needing one to tie and that is what they got.

A game that could really have gone any way and we look forward to the return fixture.
